bootTestCurvesSame(X, Y, nBoot, func, P0)
Many functions are available to test whether two data sets are drawn from different populations, and many tests are available to see whether two curves fit to the same data set are better fits. In some cases, it is desirable to fit two curves to two different data sets, and then ask whether the curves are different. This is not easy if the populations are not Normally distributed, or the curves are nonlinear. A solution to this problem is to bootstrap the curve fits. The bootTestCurvesSame function will perform such a test. The function will fit a curve you provide, or it can fit the data using a smoothing spline.
