The new functions fprint60f and sprint60f are provided which are backwards compatible with Matlab's built-in fprintf and sprintf. Extended format operators %C, %D, %H, %M and %S support printing values in sexagesimal notation. As an example of what is possible, fprint60f('%D\D%02M\M%04.1S\S', 60/13) gives '4°36′55.4″'.
