We can calculate the power factor of any ac series RLC circuit by using this circuit in simulink matlab.
Active power P = V * I * cosφ
Reactive power Q = V * I * sinφ
Apparent power S = V * I
S=√(P^2+Q^2 )
power factor cosφ = (Active power P)/(Apparent power S)
