He had received his B.E. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, India and M.E. in Power Systems Engg. from the Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore, India. He had completed his PhD in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering from Anna Univ, Chennai, India.
