David holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School. Prior to joining Mathworks he flew the Seahawk helicopter for the U.S. Navy (SH-60F and HH-60H). He has experience in the DoD Acquisition of Unmanned Systems, has supported Test and Evaluation with PMA-262, PMA-266, OSD, and the Pentagon (OPNAV) for the MQ-4C Triton and MQ-8B/C Fire Scout, and worked on Advanced Development projects with NAVAIR, NRL, MITLL, etc., at the U.S. Navy Fire Scout program office, PMA-266.
