Introduction to Interfacing Data to Models with MATLAB

Written for undergraduate students, Introduction to Interfacing Data to Models with MATLAB demonstrates how to interface or fit experimental data to mathematical models in a least squares sense. The book is designed to be an instructional guide, providing both solution methods and detailed solutions to specific problems that span a wide range of chemical engineering-related topics. For each example a complete MATLAB script file is included in the text along with any required function files, the command window output and plots of the results. This allows each example to be used as a template for solving a similar problem of interest to the reader.
