Syntax

fileType = safetyAnalysisMgr.fileType(filePath)

Description

fileType = safetyAnalysisMgr.fileType(filePath) returns the file type of the Safety Analysis Manager file specified by filePath. The file type is "document" or "template".

Determine the file type of a Safety Analysis Manager file named myDocument in the C:\myFolder folder.

safetyAnalysisMgr.fileType("C:\myFolder\myDocument.mldatx")

Input Arguments

filePath — Path to Safety Analysis Manager file

string scalar | character vector

Path to the Safety Analysis Manager file, specified as a string scalar or character vector. The file must have the .mldatx extension and must exist on the specified path.

Data Types: char | string

Output Arguments

fileType — Type of Safety Analysis Manager file

"document" | "template"

Type of Safety Analysis Manager file, returned as one of these options:

• "document" — The file is a Safety Analysis Manager document.

• "template" — The file is a Safety Analysis Manager template.
