Description

The Sawtooth Generator block generates a sawtooth waveform, with peak amplitude of +/−1, at regular intervals. The figure shows how the Frequency and Phase block parameters affect the output waveform.

Output of the block sawtooth signal.

Parameters

Frequency (Hz) — Sawtooth waveform frequency

1e3 (default) | scalar

Specify the frequency of the sawtooth waveform, in hertz.

Phase (degrees) — Sawtooth waveform

180 (default) | scalar

Specify the delay of the sawtooth waveform, in degrees. When the phase is set to 0, the waveform starts with an amplitude of −1 and a positive slope.

Sample time — Block sample time

0 (default) | nonnegative scalar

Specify the sample time of the block, in seconds. Set to 0 to implement a continuous block.
