contraharmonic and alphatrimmed means of an image

Hello, I am trying to find out how to apply the following to an image using matlab
1- Contra harmonic filter (3*3)
2- Alpha trimmed mean filter with d=5

No idea. Never heard of them. If they're somebody's special filter in some paper, can't you just follow the recipe in the paper? Maybe you could use imfilter (if it's a linear filter), or nlfilter() (for a totally general non-linear filter).
