How to find out the minimum value in a matrix between two columns in a row

suppose i have matrix a=[1 2 3 4 5 10;2 3 5 6 1 12;2 6 4 5 7 16;10 2 1 4 5 20;2 3 1 4 9 12]
now i want to find out the miimum value between column 3 and 4 of row 1, what will be mind command for that?
