Can we use MATLAB on a terminal? I mean, sometimes I don't need full power MATLAB, and it takes some important time to start. So I was wondering if I could use on a terminal or if there was some type of IDLE, just like python.

Hi Miguel,
Yes, there is an option to launch MATLAB without the UI elements from the Command prompt. It takes lesser time to load and slightly lesser resources to do so. You may use the following command from Command Prompt:
matlab -nosplash -nodesktop
