simscapeのば​ねの縮む方向を教えて​ください。

Simscape⇒View simulation data⇒simlogで結果エクスプローラを開くんですが、そこにばねの力や変位が表示されるんですが、ばねが縮んでいるか伸びているかいまいちわからないです。どっちが縮む方向でしょうか？

基本的には、変位が+の時が、ばねが伸びている時になります。
以下のAnswersも参考になるかと思います。
Spring and Damper ForceのNatural Lengthを0にしたいです
