MATLAB Builder EX のサンプル WAR をコンパイルし、Tomcat が動作するサーバーマシンに配布しましたが、実行時に以下のようなエラーが出ます。
Could not access the MCR component cache

MCR キャッシュによるディレクトリにアクセス許可がないことが原因です。
環境変数 MCR_CACHE_VERBOSE を設定することにより、アクセス許可のないディレクトリに関する情報を調べることができます。
