Can I use arithmetic & relational operations in variant conditions?

It is not recommended to use arithmetic operations in variant conditions. The Note in this documentation explains further. Please use the option error for the below diagnostic in the configuration parameters.
It is also recommended to limit the usage of the relational operators to ==, ~=, ~ in the variant expressions.
