Matlab Graph Conversion Problem

Whenever i convert my Matlab file to a Word Document the graphs show up perfectly fine but then i send it to my professor and it says that the images cannot be displayed. How can i fix this?

Matthew - how are you inserting the graphs/images into the Word Document? As objects or are you just including a path to the graph (i.e. a path to the folder and filename of the graph you are displaying)?
