is there any particular calculation size for shunt capacitor after finding node in radial distribution system for power loss reduction.

In general way verious indexs like FVSI, VSI, FSI are used to observe the stability of the distribution system but for sizing and location standard test systems provide data. I worked on this topic and many times used standard data for capacitor and D-STATCOM, SVC devices placement
