Outliers removal on R2016a

Hey everyone, i'm dealing with some oceanographic data and i'm trying to replace some outliers by NaN's. I know that there's a lot of function that does this, but the problem is that my Matlab version is the R2016a, so i don't have them.

OBS: i don't want i function that replaces the outliers with a constant or any filter. I just want to replace it with NaN's

Could someone help me please?

The variables are Turbinity, Chlorofill, Dissolved Oxygen and CDOM.

Detecting outliers is very much data dependent. Please share your code and variables so that we can help. Save your variables to a mat file. You can attach that to your post using the paperclip icon.
