I can't open any scripts.

I can't seem to open any new or old scripts in Matlab. It doesn't give me an error or anything either. I press on the script I want to open, and nothing opens. The only thing I can access is the Command Window and the Workspace.

Are you able to give commands at the command window? If so what happens if you use the "open" command?

I'm still able to use the command window. When I try to use the open command, for example "open hw1.m", nothing happens. It just goes to a new line.

which edit
which open

It gives me this message for which edit:

/Applications/MATLAB_R2023b.app/toolbox/matlab/codetools/edit.m

And this for which open:

/Applications/MATLAB_R2023b.app/toolbox/matlab/general/open.m

It seems that it was a layout problem.
