Hi
does anyone know what cumulative minimum actually means? definition or formula?

Hi,
take a look at the doc. The example should be pretty clear. Basically: if you have a vector x, the i-th entry of the cumulative minimum is the minimum of x(1:i).

It's fairly straightforward, the first value of cummin is the minimum of the first one element, the 2nd value, the minimum of the first two elements, the 3rd value is the minimum of the first 3 values, and so on.
