How to develop the variant subsystem in lower versions of MATLAB?

There is no variant subsytem in 2007b, how i can develop variant functionality in model ?

In older versions, there should be a Configurable Subsystem block you can use.

According to the Simulink release notes, the Variant Subsystem functionality was released in R2010b.
