Matlab crash after the co-simulation with VPI Transmissionmaker

I am using VPI transmissionmaker for optical communication simulation and now I would like to use Matlab for co-simulation. However, I found each time I run a simulation, the Matlab code can be executed well, but the Matlab program will crash every time. It seems there is something wrong in the program exit part.
