How to save matlab figure with grid on and with high resolution.

Hi All,
I am using print to save my figure in my working directory.
I use like print('filename','-dpng','-r300');
If I follow this I can not see the grid in the saved figure although it is present in displayed
screen.How to save figure along with grid on features.
