how to run a jar file compile matlab

hey, I create Jar file via the compiler of Matlab . The source function that I compilated has to get string input and give string output. The Jar need to get a String input, How I do this? How the Jar know to get and return parameters? Do I need to insert in my source function (in Matlab) option of listener functions? If yes how I do this? Thank you.
