ishandle(H) function is not working properly in 2017a . Is htere any modification or new declaration on that function for 2017a?

Even though I have tried isvalid and ishghandle the same problem happen which is that when I close the figure, the program will keep reading values from sensors for a few minutes after closing the figure, then stop. But when I was working on 2015a the function with the same code was working properly. Does anyone know the reason ?
