Control a BLDC motor and ESC using App Designer - Arduino

I'm doing a project on control a bldc motor (EMAX CF2822) using esc (EMAX 20A). In Arduino, I have successfully controlled the motor and esc by using servo library. Now, I need to make a Matlab GUI - Arduino to control the motor. I already tried several tutorials of Matlab GUI-Arduino on the servo motor, but it does not work. Is it similar to control esc and servo in Matlab GUI?
