How to display CT volume which corrected with slice thickness in z-axis

Hello everyone

I have a number of CT image and I've done with combined and sorting all of the axial slices to create 3D volume already.

But, I wish to display with the real image size.

I mean in z-axis should show as calculated by slice thickness,

x and y-axis show image size with multiply by pixel spacing by the way.

Now, the matrix of 3D volume is 512x512x78 the pixel spacing is 0.7813 and slice thickness is 2 mm

It depends on the way you are displaying your scan. You could use daspect to change the aspect ratio.

You should note that the slice thickness is actually not relevant in this case, but only the slice increment, which is not a required dicom field, but which you can calculate from the ImagePositionPatient and InstanceNumber:

SliceIncrement=abs(...
        (info2.ImagePositionPatient(3)-info1.ImagePositionPatient(3))/...
        (info2.InstanceNumber-info1.InstanceNumber));

If I want to multiply the slice thickness value to show the real image. How can I do it ?

I have no idea how multiplying slice thickness with anything will help you to show any real image, so I can't help you with that. If you have a more clear description of what you want I might be able to help you.

I just want to show the real volume of CT from axial slice to identifying the real ROI shape and volume in 3D.

I guess you need to interpolate some data to fit spacing between slices to same value as spacing between pixels.
