Why am I not able to use winopen in Web App Server in MATLAB Compiler 7.0 (R2018b)?

I have implemented a manual ppt window popup using the winopen ('xxx.pptx') function in the button callback, but it seems to work well in the app designer and standalone versions, but not in web apps. An error log is not generated and there is no response when the button is pressed.

The ability to use winopen function in web apps is not available in MATLAB Compiler 7.0 (R2018b). There are no workarounds.
