Hello, I need to solve two dimensional Partial Differential Equations:
2D PDE.jpg
Where z is axial and r is radial.
Ac, ɛ, Der, ρB, Rj, ΔHrxn and ri are known. I need t calculate Fi, Ci and T.
Which tool i need to use, how to start solving?
Thank in advance.

Hi Bosnian Kingdom,
I am trying to solve a similar system with coupled partial differential equations. I am trying to look for a sample code to incorporate my system. I would be extremely grateful if you could share your code so that I can make a start on my system.
I am not greatly experienced in MATLAB. I am not sure what kind of solver to use in the first place actually.
Thanks.

Hi Zain,
sorry on my late answer, but i didn't solve PDE above. Did you solve yours? I also need help.
Thanks in advance.

Use MATLAB's "pdepe" with the relation
C_j = C_j0 * (F_j / Ft) * (T0 / T) * (P / P0)
as algebraic equation.
The time-derivatives in the examples for "pdepe" become z-derivatives in your case.
Note that you work in a cylindrical r-coordinates ; thus m = 1 for "pdepe".
