Maximum values of a signal 3D

I have a matrix of 360 x181. Representing the radiation beam pattern of an antenna array. The azimuth angle is (0: 360) ° versus the elevation angle (0: 180) °. The graph obtained is in 3D with many elevations or peaks. I am interested in knowing the maximum values of the two major peaks.

There's really not a good packaged solution for more than the 1D vector case that I'm aware of, sadly.

Might search FEX and see if anybody has already posted a solution...
