Thermal behaviour of Harmonic Drive Simulink

I have built an electric actuator using Simplified PMS Drive and a Harmonic Drive to see the thermal behaviour in the system. Setting the initial temperature works for all the components in my system except from the Harmonic drive. The initial temperature is set as 23 degC, however at t=0s the gear has 24.7 degC and then quickly drop to 23.75 degC after t=12.5 (see graph).

Is there any reason for this initial temperature override from the gear?

Hello Kotryna,

Some of this may have been addressed in your other questions. I would also check the Solver Configuration block to see if Start from steady state is checked (it should not be).
