Decrease image acquisition processing time for real-time vision feedback

Hi, I have been creating code for an inverted pendulum which follows the steps below:

1. Getting a snapshot of the current video
2. Process the image
3. Computing angle
4. Using a for loop to repeat these steps.

Attached below is a snippet of the code with what it outputs. It displays the hour, minute, and second of when each frame has been acquired for analysis, alongside the angle calculated.

Currently the difference in time between image acqusition is around 4 seconds, so about 0.25 fps. Is there anyway i can speed this up to possibly 25-30fps?
