How to get variance vector from i to end of the vector X

Q = [ 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 ]

v1= var(Q)

v2 = var(Q([2:end]))

v3 = var(Q([3:end]))

....

I have to many variables like this.

I need to create a series but I don't know how?

I need new vector of Vnew [ v1, v2, v3, ..... vend]
