why do i get this error:the function nume1 is undefined

endrec_im_bin = reshape(rec_syms_cons',nume1(rec_syms_cons),1);}

I get this error:

Undefined function or variable 'number'.

nume1 is a buit in matlab function. why do get this error?

Put simply:

Q1 = uint8('nume1')
Q2 = uint8('numel')

Q1 =
  110  117  109  101   49

Q2 =
  110  117  109  101  108

Which is a MATLAB roundabout way of saying that you typed a 1 (ONE) instead of an l (lower case ‘L’).
