About inference of ccdf vs papr

Hello sir/madam, I m working in a project that deals with the reduction of PAPR. I have referred many works related to that. In all the works they have compared ccdf vs papr to account for the papr reduction... Can someone tell me why they are comparing like that.. What is the inference of that curve?? Thanks in advance
