Enzymatic reaction modeling in MATLAB

How would the code in MATLAB look for this enzymatic reaction? The parameters, equations and initial concentrations are given, and the plot should be similar to the one in the picture.

You are not actually estimating parameters, however the example in: Parameter Estimation for a System of Differential Equations illustrates the correct approach to modeling and plotting it.

You have four variables, and four differetial equations. For simplicity, define:

S = x(1);
E = x(2);
C = x(3);
P = x(4);

and go from there, making the necessary substitutions in the equations as they are written. For example, the equation for would be:

dx(4,:) = k2*x(3);

and similarly for the others.

You could use an anonymous function for these, however if you choose a function file, you would define it for example as:

function dx = kinetics(t,x)
    ... DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS ...
end

and then call it appropriately in ode45.
