Description
Twin Fabrica software enables virtual thermal sensing technology on a large scale. The suite is designed to start with a 3D CAD model, providing a reduced order model as output, capable of being embedded in low-power microcontrollers. This model accurately describes the temperature behavior of the component across its entire operation and boundary condition range.
The software guides users through all workflow steps, enabling them to easily define model inputs and outputs. It creates a parametric Finite-Element Model, which is reduced and calibrated using test data. Users can export a Simulink model for simulation or to generate and compile C-code for firmware integration.
Twin Fabrica is built entirely in MATLAB. The automatically generated output Simulink model is compatible with any supported target hardware architecture. Embedded code can also be output directly from Twin Fabrica for prototyping, however MathWorks code generation tools are needed for production use and ISO certification requirements.
