With the PID controller tuned to meet control system requirements, you need to design supervisory control logic in Stateflow^®. The supervisory logic changes the operation of the machine based on the mode the machine currently operates in. You can define different modes of operation in Stateflow and specify conditions for switching from one mode to another. Simulate the logic to test it and observe how transitions from one mode to another are visualized during the simulation.
