Galileo Ferraris’ Contest
The increasing complexity of design requirements for traction electrical machines has called for the development of advanced analysis and synthesis capabilities. Data-driven and machine learning methodologies have emerged as promising tools for this purpose, but their performance and potential must be thoroughly evaluated. The Galileo Ferraris Contest has been created to provide a platform for testing various machine learning techniques on a set of benchmark cases. The contest Organizers will generate and share datasets through a well-defined procedure in an open environment.
