SAE BRASIL Formula is a car development competition, where engineering students are challenged to design and build small formula racing cars.
The SAE BRASIL Formula competition expands students' technical knowledge and challenges them to experience the entire car development process - from conceptualizing to building.
This competition was created to provide a real-world environment, where students can practice the theories they learned in class. This real-world experience helps improve the students´ preparation for the job market.
SAE BRASIL Formula cars will be built by the students, while supervised by a teacher, over a one-year period.
Projects will be judged among other Brazilian engineering educational institutions.
The MATLAB and Simulink Racing Lounge features a video podcast series covering topics relevant to student competition teams. Learn the basics of MATLAB and Simulink, see how you can improve your race car, and discover how successful teams use MATLAB and Simulink in their race car development.
MathWorks provides complimentary software for this competition. If your team is participating in this competition and would like to request software contact us.
These training materials will help your racing team get started with modeling, simulating, and analyzing automotive systems.
